The canyon de la Chaloupe Saint Leu is an initiation canyon with panoramic views of the ocean and the lagoon. This canyon is "dry" for ¾ of the year, which allows an approach in light mode (without combination). This canyon takes place for half a day, morning or afternoon (no risk of floods). It consists of 4 to 5 reminders from 20 to 30m, and a return to 10min maximum.

The canyon of the Saint Leu Chaloupe is a small western initiation canyon, with the particularity of having a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and the lagoon. Due to its dry character, it is an approach to canyoning in light mode (without combination).
This canyon takes place over half a day, morning or afternoon (no risk of flood).

After 5 minutes of approach walking, we arrive at the entrance to the canyon where one of the hardest climbing spots on the island is located. We pass it in a zip line or by bypassing it by a via corda. There follows a series of small reminders of 15 to 25m to reach the final throat.
This one becomes very narrow and makes us feel "very small". We cross it with an aerial handrail, and a beautiful reminder of 30m. The canyon ends with a 15 minutes return walk.

This canyon is practicable all year round, with excellent conditions during the rainy season. It is suitable for large groups, families, children (no cold problem) and vacationers wishing sensations in the West.
